Our company, based in Durban, South Africa, is looking for an experienced ERP freelancer to implement a complete HR and Payroll module for our workforce. We currently employ 42 staff members, most of whom work hourly shifts in production and packaging.We need an ERP consultant who can set up an HR system that allows us to:Create digital employee profiles (personal info, contracts, IDs, bank details)Manage time & attendance using daily/weekly timesheetsAutomate hourly payroll calculations (including overtime, weekend rates, and public holiday rules based on South African labor laws)Import all previous employee records from Excel into the systemEnsure compliance with BCEA regulations, UIF contributions, and leave requirementsProvide basic HR reporting (attendance, salary summaries, contract expiry alerts)We prefer someone with experience in the South African market, especially with companies that operate in manufacturing or shift-based environments. Understanding the cultural working environment including respect for team structures, shift rotations, and communication practices is highly valued.
